Customer Order Processor (FTC)
We're looking for a Customer Order Processor on a maternity cover contract, to manage end-to-end B2B order processing for our Customers (retailers). Using your strong attention to detail, you'll ensure accuracy and timely dispatch, along with providing excellent customer service throughout the order lifecycle. This role involves coordinating with internal teams, third-party logistics providers, and customers to resolve issues, maximize order fulfilment, and ensuring targets are met. You'll have strong communication skills, the ability to work efficiently across multiple systems, and you'll be comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
What you’ll do:
Process all B2B orders following the process end to end including:
Order placement – making all necessary checks such as correct codes, prices, and quantities
Ensure maximum fulfilment of all orders
A timely dispatch as per the customers’ requirements
Collating collection documentation and working with the relevant teams to ensure the customer has all documents needed for collection/registration
Provide customers with updates on the order status and delivery information.
Able to adapt and use different customer portals where needed for order placement/delivery bookings
Answer general queries from customers regarding orders/stock
Work closely with our 3PLs.
Process customer returns
Resolve any issues that come up:
Discrepancies – track and monitor these until they are closed off
Delays
Incorrect items or damaged goods.
Work closely with different departments to make sure all orders are dispatched within the month to hit monthly sales targets
Process Tester orders/kits onto the system and work with the relevant departments to have these completed.
Process Transfer orders where needed between different warehouses
Process production orders for direct to customer orders (directly from factory)
Process samples for customers
What you’ll have:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Proficient in using various customer portals and ideally NetSuite ERP system
Problem-solving skills and ability to resolve issues effectively
Team player with strong collaboration skills
Previous experience in order processing or customer service role
Knowledge of B2B operations and logistics
Experience working with 3PLs and supply chain partners
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
