POS Designer
Our goal is to continue to set new standards in visual merchandising that not only showcases our products in-store effectively, but also celebrates the beauty and individuality of everyone in our community through brand visuals.
The Global POS Designer at Revolution Beauty, will be responsible for ensuring the production, implementation, and quality of all flat 2D ready print artwork for retail stores.
Along with your Visual Merchandising team, you will incorporate diverse imagery with inclusive messaging into shopper led branding that elevates in-store and resonates with consumers. Translating POS briefs into consistent brand visuals; prioritising projects and showcasing artwork to deliver best-in-class visuals for the perfect store.
What you’ll do:
- Execute our Masterbrand, powering up the core and global growth strategy
- Translate POS briefs from teams, into finalised artwork ready store collateral.
- Design print ready files with right specs, dimensions, and resolutions.
- Take a design layout from concept to completion.
- Create graphics using Adobe illustrator; enabling files to be shared easily.
- Sketch initial ideations into 2D story-telling visual graphics.
- Implement artwork on die lines, cutters/ PDF’s, embracing different print requirements.
- Share live artwork creation on Illustrator with VM team to create the perfect POS.
- Ignite the in-store experience accommodating consumer needs through visual aids.
- Thoroughly understand retailer guidelines including store environments.
- Gain stakeholder approval proposing different design solutions to queries.
- Familiarise lockup’s, font weighting and design layouts to maximise space and ROI.
- Assist the V.M Manager with briefs, categorising their progress and resource needs.
- Learn and understand retail CADs and planograms to familiarise store needs.
- Lead new store concepts providing all elements of graphic communication.
- Translate creatives into secondary site displays, store takeovers and toolkits.
- Implement store walks, competitor reviews and meetings to assess competition.
- Create global in-store visual branding guidelines for markets where they don’t exist.
- Coach and mentor global vendors to reduce time and costs in hourly art working.
- Familiarise Revolution’s image bank with quick wins to solving POS challenges.
- Work alongside agencies enabling them to create 3D structures quickly.
- Apply Revolution’s values to all branding and be a part of the journey, refreshing it.
- Gain consumer feedback using our huge social following and shopper insight.
- Lead weekly status updates and shuffle priorities on the Revolution task database.
- Work along-side brand marketing teams to bring in-store propositions to life.
- Open to feedback. Work with the Chief Marketing Officer and Director of V.M as final approvers.
- Create team working opportunities to up-skill, share knowledge and maximise the well-being of us as individuals.
What you’ll have:
- 3+ years design experience in a fast-paced environment.
- An obsession with beauty and experience within beauty brands in retail is a bonus.
- Knowledge of trends, innovation, and captivating cosmetics campaigns.
- Portfolio of previous work is essential.
- Degree preferred within design, graphics, marketing and/or brand related.
- Advanced knowledge in Adobe- Illustrator and Photo-Shop.
- Visualisation skills within 2D at expert level and 3D as a bonus (95% of the time will be using Adobe Illustrator.)
- Ability to take concepts through to full print ready artwork, with knowledge of the print/production process.
- Ability to manage workflow databases, view spreadsheets and translate briefs.
- Ability to work in at an extremely fast pace, with multiple projects and priorities.
- Understanding of retail marketing and customer experience.
- Driven, self-starter with a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Open to receiving criticism and a level of resilience in re-working projects.
- Excellent time and project management.
- Strong communicator, with the ability to coordinate across different teams.
